Exterior and Neighborhood

The home is located on a small quiet street with many similar older homes. The 1-car garage is on the back alley. Click on any photo to see a larger view.

Oak front door is 42" wide and has a beveled glass window and hammered copper latch.

Hard to see through the trees, but there are 4 identical bungalows in a row.

This is the bungalow to the opposite side, recently restored. Very nice people.

This is one of the other bungalows two doors down, that is also restored.

The Living Room has extensive wood trim, wainscoting, boxed-beam ceiling and built-in cabinets. All of the woodwork was painstakingly stripped of paint and restored to the original hand rubbed and waxed shellac finish. The floors are hardwood, not refinished, but in good shape (they are still a little dusty in these pictures). We also have custom made linen curtains for all of the windows in the house (not yet installed).

Dining Room

The Dining Room continues the woodwork from the Living Room. It includes a working fireplace. The swinging glass door in the middle of the picture below leads to the Kitchen.

This is a built-in secretary desk.

Great place to stash bills and paperwork, hidden from sight.

Kitchen

The Kitchen has a new dishwasher and over-the-stove microwave. It also includes a gas stove and refrigerator.

View to the Laundry Room and back door. We have a newer stacked high-efficiency front loading washing machine with gas dryer (not yet installed).

There is a ton of storage in this kitchen. Below are some of the original built-in cabinets we stripped and refinished in natural wood.

Below is the Pantry off of the Laundry room. More storage for those oversize Costco purchases!

This is the greatest dishwasher ever. Not kidding. Just load your dishes without rinsing and it will clean and dry them spotlessly with a sensor to automatically adjust the wash time.

Front Bedroom

The Front Bedroom is connected to the Living Room by two large sliding wood pocket doors. It has the same woodwork as the Living and Dining rooms. Therefore, it can be used to expand the living area if you don't need another bedroom. Otherwise, slide the doors closed for privacy.
